Just a suggestion, ignore it if its not to your taste; But whenever you do choose his houses' animal can you give him traits related to it? Like Targs and their resistance/immunity to fire. For example if he were a Stark he would have wolf qualities and since they're in the north maybe ice related abilities. Just a suggestion to make him naturally stronger without relying on equipment mainly and for something unique to the royal family of Xandar, its not too farfetched since he has witches to help with whatever ritual is required.

I just had a random thought. I was just thinking how would older Azrael look and instantly got the image of Namor from Wakanda Forever but with long hair in many braids with many bells attached (kinda similar to box braids but for men as shown in the pic but all black), without the nose jewelry, and normal shaped ears. The image just won't leave my head 🤷🏾‍♀️😂
