Well, the ride stop there … Too many plot holes for my taste, and the human psychology is at best superficial. MC got mugged then act like nothing happened,no concept of his own security after that at all, MC got scammed by Charlotte and Co. then continue on his tutoring and speak to her like nothing happened (contract can easily be breached, even more with the bad faith the opposibg party revealed), even still want her as a business partner … MC always want to rush things for seemingly no reason. New tech built on old hardware, physically impossible. Shallow comprehension at best of the business side of the story, otherwise you wouldn’t go that route with the MC exposing his tech at the competition. He could legally be buried under so much legal paperwork that he would bankrupt his funds in lawyers fees: they have his prototype, nothing prevents them to say its theirs, no written proof anywhere. So it would never go well for him. There are more but i will stop here, i think i made my point already 🤷‍♂️ I generally like tech genre in novels, because im in the trade for 20+ years already, but there’s one thing you absolutely have to do when doing this type of writing : research. A lot of it, and inferences with multiple sources. Advising by knowledgeable people too can be good. Not doing that give the same look as those authors that write game like genre and screw up the stats and game logic and mechanics. To be fair, it looks like a rough inspiration from the popular tech system in Webnovel : Getting a tech system in modern days.
