With the level his tech is at he doesnt need a patent. A patent means you have to specify how it works etc.. Which means its easier for others to copy. Also not sure where those numbers came from and if those were still in pesos. A normal family solar unit goes for around 20k euros here. Which would be 1 million pesos.
