MC is very evil. This isn't a complaint, just an observation. Pokemon in this world are clearly sapient beings, not any less than humans. Despite this, he's willing to kill them and start wars between them for profit, Lockheed Martin style. Him having to realize exactly what it is he's doing might be an interesting plot point if he doesn't understand at the moment.

In regards to finding a good Flying and Grass type, why not get a Doduo and Budew? In the games Dodou and Dodtrio can learn fly and are incredibly fast runners so they'd make good transportation. Plus with 3 heads to attack with they'd be more powerful than their in-game stats suggest. Imagine stacking Echoed Voices with three heads. As for the Budew, I realize this might be a stretch since they aren't native to Kanto, but I can't really recall any good pokemon fics with a MC that had a Roserade, plus they can learn Aromatherapy which the MC mentioned previously that he wanted his Grass Type to know.
