This chapter is a new height of your work I'd say. ♥️ Adams heavy emotional reactions (the realistic and detailed description of his panic attack) but also the acting during and after the old man's help, all very well done. I'm a bit surprised how much wisdom you inserted in this chapter. I know, you don't need to be old to be wise, but somehow it feels to me like the author is shown more in the old man Berger than in Adam.
Definitely one of my favorite chapters so far. I truly think what Berger said is genuinely great advice, and to be honest I needed to hear and listen to it a bit myself, so I thank you for that. But on a real note, felt like some of the most emotional and philosophical writting I have read on Webnovel so far in this chapter. tftc!!
