See, the problem is that this makes the MC look really really stupid. Especially since the material is made for literal 11yr olds... and HP magic is depicted to be so inherently brain dead. It's just "point stick. say funny word". It's one thing if he just can't get his magic to work, but to struggle with comprehension just seems... kinda miserable, ig? Just my opinion.
