I don't know, if your MC is a Targaryen and claims the rights to Westeros it might be fair. But here your MC is the Baratheons, the family who succeeded in overthrowing the Targaryen government until they had to go to Essos and become homeless. So, the idea of Edric reconciling with the Targaryens is complete nonsense considering it was the era of feudalism. except, you, the author, added plot armor that doesn't make sense there.
and finally there will be war again between Edric and Daenerys, Edric's desire is peace and unity of Westeros, while Daenerys wants to take the throne that Edric occupies. These two desires cannot be united, unless you take a middle path such as marriage or at worst killing Daenerys. But in the end the flying reptiles will be angry because their "mama" was killed by Edric.

I am interested in what the MC is going to do with Robert's other baseborn children like Gendry, Bella and Mya Stone. With him headed to the vale, Mya is in play as she is one of the guides of House Royce who leads people up to Eyrie. She also has a Redfort squire as a lover with the issues of his knighthood and her being a stone spring the marriage.
