Wait, I thought his parents were in the low-grade potential, which they managed to reach the Elder Selection faze despite not being picked; so shouldn't they have been more powerful than the average wandering wizards, along with their life-force consuming skills, surely they could be considered for job roles higher than their jobs.
But isn't that a long time, even with the life consuming used, remember their current age is like 65-70 years old, And they start going to the academy at the age of 6-8; which says the elders choose the student around the age of hmm 10 years old that leaves 55-60 years left, which say they made a mistake say 25 to 30 years are cut due to the life consuming skills, which etheir way at least leaves them 25-30 years left and since they had a kid/kids, so 17 and 22 years left. That means those 17 years were left doing the jobs for the elders. Can you kinda see what I'm getting at. If this makes sense.

Besides, Adam is barely an early Tier One, and Evelyn is still a peak wizard apprentice. The only reason they could be powerful was because of the life-consuming spell, which is not sustainable.
