Question: Did he put a barrier around the city or something? Even if he blocks the internet, what stops people from just leaving the city to call for help? Or are friends and family not wondering why they can't contact anyone in the city? What about government buildings, news studios, and branches of private companies? They would contact each other daily by default. Or tourist and people just passing by the city by tour? How did nobody notice anything for weeks?
