Hopefully, the blood thing was bluff or the unique properties of his blood with extremis have a safety feature where it destroys itself on a cellular level if outside the body. maybe it burns itself or something. Don't need no blood shenanigans. Alwasy energy wrote well, and clones are always a cop out also.
That's why ladies and gentleman, when you reincarnate in Marvel/DC, you should focus on getting strong as quickly as possible, far above everyone else to the point that you become an untouchable threat, just that way you don't need to tolerate that kind of nonsense.
