This whole conversation felt forced especially because Hans is a hypercrit, didn't his actions also get people killed, what right does he have to tell someone how they should use their powers.
In a battle that was an unforseen event that he still gave his all in. this argument was forced and mostly just a tempertantrum. he never wanted to be a lonely overpowerd hero, and who knows how many people tried to kill him just because he was "the next big thing" even as he was holding back. Mc has zero moral high ground. just because you can doesn't mean you must, should, or would do something. he has a right as a human to live his life. the only mistake he feels is the guilt of the survivor. he feels if he worked harder his brother would be alive, I'd he didn't slack the incident 4 years ago could have ended better. But he isn't God he didn't know the future. he is only a men.
