tbh ,he's not wrong ,there is innate potential for evil/bad or 'not morally aligned decisions' in everyone ,I personally believe that ,but I also do believe in our innate potential for good as well,I'm more of a middleman ,if I want to do something 'good' I'll do it and if want to do something bad(within my own moral alignment ofc)I'll do it ,but fact of the matter is as a race we find it easier to do 'bad things' than it is to do 'good things',so I get Izuku's logic our selfish nature is more innate and self preserving(as all animals are) than our sentient selfless nature ,cause when push comes to shove ,we both know between your family or mine ,your choosing yours and I'm choosing mine
