Miach is alright but Miach's Familia is business related. Even if Naaza and Miach is the one brewing potions while Odr is the one gathering materials, any new or gamebreaking potion will immediately put them in the spotlight. Especially since they are rivals with the Dian Cecht Familia, new of it would reach far and wide. Its funnily enough that you mentioned not wanting the Hephaestus Familia because you didn't want to have Odr simply blacksmithing but so is here in the Miach Familia. I would say that its even worst since its just the two of them meaning that Odr has to also learn potion making or put a lot of effort in going into the dungeon alone with the latter possibly gaining him more attention. Hestia is an interesting case. If Odr arrives during the time where Bell has already joined the Hestia Familia, then it would be completely idiotic for him to join the Hestia Familia. Freya has already put her sights on Bell and she will pay attention to anyone he is close with. Her being unable to read his soul would already catch her interest and she would perform an investigation upon which she would discover him. It would be a different case if Bell hasn't arrived yet but even then the so called Freya choosing Bell or Odr woudn't really work if Odr arrives first. It would put a target on him and while Freya would still get want, she won't put much attention on him compared in canon since she already has found her Odr. Hermes is alright but I feel like that it would cause Odr to get more involve with a situation instead of avoiding it. Probably would get Odr easily noticed by Freya. It could still be good because of their large number in members and the fact that they are an Exploration type Familia. Hermes and Asfi, despite the former's meddling personality, would still be able to manage and help Odr. Also, Hermes knows that the Hostess of Fertility especially Mia and Syr are connected to Freya so he will be able to monitor things much easier. Astrea isn't the best part. Let's say we follow what you wrote about Astrea in your Author's Note, It would make him much more noticable and targetable by Freya. The Astrea Familia returning with its new member being a Boy, that would be an interesting talk amongst the Gods. Even if you say that Astrea would be roaming, that would actually be a bad thing as our MC can't update their stats without their God updating it. And Even if Astrea stays in Orario, that will still catch a large amounts of attention especially considering the fact that Ryu is close to Syr/Freya. Freya would pretty much learn quick about Odr's identity just by asking Ryu alone. Funnily enough, the best option that you didn't want is actually Loki. Sure you say that if Odr was in the Loki Familia, he would easily be discovered, but in actuality, the other Familias would also be easily discovered and be easily taken. Heck, one of his skills can only work once Odr is discovered by Freya as it only activates if he is desire by Freya. How can he be desired if Freya doesn't even know him. Not only is Loki strong but they actually have the ability to protect Odr. Loki is also smart and the moment she sees his stats, she will be capable of making sure that he is safe. As for you saying that he won't be allowed what to do, he would still be in a much better position compared to others. Higher members could train him, heck, he will be protected by strong adventurers of the familia. I don't think Loki would completely hinder his progress after seeing what he can do. Even if you want to have his identity be hidden for a while from Freya, the Loki Familia is still a good place since he would be hidden amongst its many members. Overall my pick from best to worst is Hermes > Hestia > Miach > Astrea. If Loki was allowed, she would probably the best.
