thank you so much for translating 🙏 it is always very interesting to me how this novel’s POV works. A lot of novels with multiple POV retain an omniscient narrator with an unbiased tone but not this one. The narrator here says everything as if they were Jang Ilso writing about the events, which makes switching between Chung Myung and Jang Ilso POV really interesting imo. It also gives me whiplash when we switch to Banging… he is just so… unsneaky lol

In this point of view from JI, everyone on this battlefield is the same, aiming for the greed they desire.
