I feel like it's as simple as a request of The Sect Leader of the Beggar Union. Being apart of the same ten great sect, he prob rationale that some guys stayed back by the temple, and thus would aid the Beggar Union Sect Leader, simply because they can't lose the Beggar Union like the other two that got wiped, especially because info will always be useful for decision making
