Poor Inaya. So I guess 18 isn't the legal age of consent in this world? I understand her decision though. She doesn't seem to have the psychological or the emotional stability to raise another life, much less support herself.

Feels that because one is 18 it doesn't mean the world changes in night in reality so wanted to keep it that way in the story. And it's also not just about the age. We see older and younger people all equally going through miseries, so it's not the age alone.. it's also what's written in our heads, but we can choose to settle or overcome it.
