Nah, even Ash has a Pikachu that never evolves as a starter. Why would you even complain about Zubat with much better final evolution
Albert_Solade:Agreed. And its kind of hard to obtain rhyhorn unlike zubat. Starter arent focused on speed, strength or power but compatibility and versatility. Because starter need to be alpha to the team. They are symbol to their trainer strength and partner. Imagine if your starter are defeated with other pokemons that you later catch. They would not be respected and followed by your other pokemons. Please use logic before you create fics
