This is so weird; Julian is a specter who has no emotions. Why does the author write that Julian is confident, proud, feeling annoyance, etc? These are human emotions.
Julian shouldn't feel that way. He shouldn't feel anything.
I don't know what to think yet about him telling Julian about it but I am excited to learn more about the past of this world and the technology he discovered and will discover.
