Thanks for the chapters! Good stuff. I enjoy how you're gradually leaving hints to ancient civilizations but you're not giving us all the info right away. We're getting breadcrumbs that will lead us to the truth of the world and the relationship between humans and specters.
I am starting to think thr ancient civ some how opennes a portal to tap into the energy that spect use, but it backfired on them.
I believe the sun might have been the first of these and maybe it was originally a souce of power.
