I am curious about the info afterall other inspectors already knew about the dreamer, and they did not sneak back to the warehouse. so what info does the boy have that's actually a secret to anyone with a decent intelligence gathering set up?

I'm really confused about why Nick decided that the only way for the child to survive was to become a Zephyx Extractor. And if Wyntor knew that this child was a risk, he could have simply denied the child entry into the company and told him to come back as an adult. In the meantime, the child could have lived at Nick's house for free. The boy doesn't have to live alone. I think the author forgot to explain these points in the story, but I'm eager to find out what will happen next.
