why doesn't he use the system to scan to pinpoint her location

Doesn't make sense. They can't invade Humbad because they can get reported. So they invaded Humbad starting a war between them. They can't go into the tower because they can't invade Humbad, the place they are currently invading and are at war with. Humbad won't give the princess up because??? They know that EIA can annihilate them, I'm sure, so why steal the princess unless she is hiding on her own. The family has a tracking ability, but that's not enough to prove her location and give them a reason to search the tower or at least get a third party involved? Nothing really adds up. I really hope this is just strange foreshadowing and not just poor storytelling.
