I just found a contradiction in the way of thinking of Aqua now with what was portrayed in the former chapters. Formerly he mentioned how he will do whatever he wants ( I assume even getting an Harem). But, now he is stating how he is in a modern world and he need to control his "hormones." I assume the are already under control since he is in fact an old monster with so much experience and understanding about himself. So, if such contradiction is being made in purpose to add "drama" and "self reflection" to the novel, I will be in need to regret my former comment about how the MC got affected by his past lives. Since I'm this chapter he doesn't look like it. I even felt that such debate is forced. I don't know what other people think, but I felt in that way.
This is the time I got bored and just done with this kind of unstimulating plotline. Although I got hooked by the idea of the character build-up from the early chapters, I guess the slice of life aspect of acquiring girls here and there is not just my kind of kink, as I find it utterly boring; ending with adding his own mother to the mix. Like I said, I would love the solid plot to continue, but knowing it's mainly DxD, and with the unfolding of MC's mindset, it just didn't pique my interest anymore.
