Mc needs to suffer from setbacks. He is acting way too inflated in my opinion. He's all ambitions and ambitions even quoting something like "I will break through Eternity itself" as if an Edgy Lizard like him inside a small blue planet actually compare to an entity with universes inside of him. He needs to he humbled and grounded cause he's feeling like a total alien to me than actual human and bit more animal now than just a smart peter parker.
Mutants aren't really a good faction to take side of whether be it the brotherhood or the school . Both of them employ teenagers or children as soldiers and brainwash them literally or/and figuratively . It's one thing that they fight against actually mutants being experimented on or genocides , which is the correct moral decision , another that in the name of protection they do even more horrible things like genocide themselves to the human race , which both the brotherhood and the school (even if it denies mutants and human being different races the people in the faction both the leaders and the followers agree more than disagree ) have done .The problem with this chapter is henceforth: heroes and villain . I understand it's marvel you can't have a story without these things but my main problem with these situations is that characters the main characters will take drastic action like m*rd*r far too easily when there is no real reason to . The goal to acquire power is normal ,everyone does it it's no marvel comic only fact , the real world is nothing but a contest for power . There are multiple factions in one place competing for one thing all of which have more resources and manpower than our not so friendly lizard . All of which factions have different agendas ,cannot be called morally good ,are ready to kill as many as much of the other party they can or be killed and any of those faction acquiring the extremis serum is not a good thing .The X men are not the good guys at all ,at least not when they don't have a enemy to fight against that coincidentally just happens to be evil . In the lack of evil villains the greatest evil tends to be the x men themselves. This is not merely a X-Men diss but a reminder that in the real world heroes aren't people who put children in danger of death and train them to be killers otherwise they would be killed. The goal of Peter to automatically align himself with the X-Men for no real reason other than sudden sympathy is really crazy to me . I mean it's not as if Logan with his claws was trying to high-five Shawn and why didn't he try to help Shawn back then? But then bobby's gonna so he has to be the hero . The X men are better than Shawn and other factions but sympathy should not be the only reason for making an enemy out of someone or killing someone . The problem is this: who did Shawn kill that was close to Peter ? What does Shawn's death benefit him in anyway? and why should Peter be more friendly with the X-Men? to be more safe? he would have been safer if he didn't try to help them in the first place , the only reason he would be in danger is because he made the problem by killing shawn and killing someone makes a lot of problems . If you really understand what I am trying say you will realize there's no way in which Peter was hurt , no benefit or reason to befriend the x men. Befriending the X-Men woudldbe cool if ti happened naturally . X-Men got a load of problems ,problems which the scaly lizard can't fix . Its nice to struggle to make your life better idiotic to make it worse
