Is he gonna remain weak for a long time? I feel like he's got a lot of potential but he's refining his techniques more than his raw power. like 95% there weren't even thoughts about his mother and if he wanted to meet her. and what about training his god side and getting someone to teach him. honestly till now it feels like he's got resources but don't use them and just make stuff on the spot.

And what makes it worse in my opinion is that the world of dxd is focused on raw power and to make matters worse the author is a Demon Slayer fan boy, who thinks that breathing techniques are superior to everything.
