Okay this doesn't make sense at all. They knew there was demon interference. They know the target was Astron. No security? no questions? Like shouldn't he be protected at least until they get the answers they need? There's obviously a demon cultivator in the academy, wouldn't they assume that once it was released that he wasn't killed that they would come after him to finish off the job? Even Sylvie; she was able to completely heal him from these injuries. She would be the top target now considering what she did was basically a miracle. I think you should at least add that they have some high ranking guards outside their room or something, or at least hint that they're being protected by someone powerful from the shadows?
