Comments of chapter undefined of Infinite Paths: The Raging Phoenix

Trying to enjoy the story so far but it is hard to get attached to a character who has no range of emotion and takes dying, reincarnation, dragons, etc...as another day at the office. Is he a robot? Is this a constant thing that happens to him throughout his life that he is so deadpan about it? As it stands, I find the homeless lady he saved more interesting than the MC. Hope this changes.
