Wouldn't the force be more powerful and divided beyond light and dark or positive and negative emotions due to the emotional spectrum existing and The Force being a lesser version of it. Mostly because the ES is multiversal
Yes and no, the Emotional Spectrum is subjective and tied to a particular school of thought. The Force is allows for someone who is gifted to wield it's power regardless of emotional understanding. Although the emotional spectrum has many pros it also has many limitations as well. The same applies to the Force but the is more akin to cultivation law than just emotional spectrum. There is also no proof that the Force isn't multiversal.
I think a good base for his powers would be the mc becoming a viltrimite. They should count as sci-fi because they reached their powers through artificial adaptation and genetic manipulation. Their powers are mostly physical and are naturally intuitive with no need to train as they get stronger with age. With powerful DNA that takes all the positives and overrides the negatives during reproduction. Also, they have limited psychic abilities, and any damage received short of death increases their powers.
