Not really. It's just a "role" he has to play (so he'll limit himself at what hsi indicators say). His strength isn't nerfed; he assumed it'd be best to follow the "role" since he already knew about the counterforce at this time.
Now I want to see a meeting between Artemis (Danmachi) and Orion (MC) with Artemis (Fate) and Orion (Fate) or even Artemis (PJ). I don't remember another show or story where Artemis or Orion appears.
