Personally I’m glad he’s taking the protector angle, so long as he’s willing to at least defend himself in the future (which from the chapter it seems like he will). Like we’ve seen here, he doesn’t need to go on an aimless murderous rampage to express his displeasure—he can just stop helping them.

Would like to see more human POVs. Like why did they try to kill Gamera. Who authorised it and why did they think that it was a good idea? Only seeing Gamera's reaction to everything going around him without knowing anything is starting to get annoying.
