Okay I am done going stop this series cause author is intentionally dragging to create pointless cliffhanger. Thanks but no thanks
I am sorry your story is great it has good flow and well crafted. I was just having a bad day and your story is something I leave for the end of the day as a treat. I just ranted and really shouldn’t have. Thankyou for the work and I’ll probably just read this once a week so there is a nice build up. Xoxo author sama
SandKastle:In all seriousness, I don’t intentionally make cliffhangers. It ends because of word count, tiredness, and I just don’t want to rush the story! Sorry if it came out like that <3. I was just joking on the author’s note. I have a love-hate relationship with cliffhangers (as a reader) too.
You know what I hate? Cliffhangers. They are the worst. They make you wait and wonder and worry about what's going to happen next. They leave you hanging on the edge of your seat, desperate for more. They tease you with a glimpse of something amazing, and then they cut to black. How cruel is that? I mean, think about it. How many times have you watched a show or a movie or read a book or a comic that ended with a cliffhanger? How many times have you felt that rush of adrenaline, that surge of excitement, that pang of curiosity, only to be left unsatisfied and frustrated? How many times have you screamed at the screen or the page, "No! Don't end it there! What happens next? Tell me!" And then you have to wait. Sometimes for days, sometimes for weeks, sometimes for months, sometimes for years. Sometimes forever. You have to endure the agony of anticipation, the torture of uncertainty, the torment of speculation. You have to deal with the theories and the spoilers and the rumors and the fanfics. You have to hope and pray that the next installment will be worth it, that it will answer your questions, that it will resolve your conflicts, that it will satisfy your cravings But sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the next installment is disappointing, or confusing, or boring, or worse. Sometimes it doesn't even exist. Sometimes the show gets canceled, or the movie flops, or the book series ends, or the author dies. Sometimes you never get closure. Sometimes you never get justice. Sometimes you never get peace. That's why I hate cliffhangers. They are the worst. They are a cheap trick, a lazy device, a cruel joke. They are a way of manipulating your emotions, of exploiting your curiosity, of extorting your loyalty. They are a way of making you care about something that doesn't matter, of making you invest in something that doesn't pay off, of making you waste your time and energy and money on something that doesn't deserve it. So don't fall for them. Don't let them fool you. Don't let them control you. Don't let them ruin your life. And whatever you do, don't ask me what happens next. Because I'm not going to tell you. That's right. This is a cliffhanger.
