Comments of chapter undefined of With Bare-Bones

I'm not gonna lie. this introduction to romance into the story is probably one of the worst I've read. I mean, what does Leo know about Ai other than she is an idol and goes to his school? what do WE know about Ai. It just feels like it was written because of a random idea that appeared halfway through the chapter. there is no development at all and as a reader I've not even had a chance to connect with Ai as a character and it just seems out of character for Leo from what we've seen from him up to this point. also the whole betraying the devil hunters also just seems like a spur of the moment thing aswell. what is his motivation for doing it? We are literally in his head reading his thoughts throughout the story and there was no build up to this from what I could tell. Maybe we'll learn his reasons in the future but it would've been alot nicer to see some reasons as to why before he just does it. the entire story up until this point has been very coherent and good. this chapter just feels like a notepad for ideas.
