Are you gonna have Pete try to train a Stantler to evolve into Wyrdeer? Psyshield bash is a pretty simple concept. You basically take the moves barrier and tackle and have a Stantler use both at the same time. I think Pete could even get Whitney to help since Stantler is a normal type and Wyrdeer is a normal and psychic type just like Girafarig and farigiraf.
