They made a whole plot/conspiracy to make her attack a big merchant convoy because she was made to believe they were illegal slavers and bandits and shown fake evidence of it (normally one wouldn't fall for such a thing but she is famous for having a short fuse, be passionate and tend to rush things, adding to this that her education was cut short when she was 9, stayed slave until 11 and learned on her own until 17, she knows math, 2 languages like Roxanne and sherry and knows math, but all the rest is how to survive). The moment of truth (for the bandits) came when they ambushed the merchant as he traveled between cities. They told Erza to charge and they will attack from behind... She believed it and did so... After a short while Erza noticed something off... the rear attack never came and shortly afterward her "Party" came to the merchant "Rescue"... Defeated Erza easily cause they gave her a slow-acting poison paralysis and knocked her out. After which she was sold off and change her occupation to slave... Again and was forced to release all her items to be sold off and offered and split between the Merchant and her "Party"... After which she learned... The merchant was bribed by her party and participated in the conspiracy against her. 4 // And then Erza meets MC. Erza is a battle junkie, passionate, direct, foodie, gourmet, short-fused, loves cake, hates slavers, and wants revenge against her party and that merchant. She has the jobs Villager, Swordsman, Miner, Adventurer, Warrior, Miner, Explorer, Knight, heavy knight, and Titania(erza personal job).
1 // Erza Scarlet: She is from a XXX knight noble family from the empire or kingdom mc can visit. TO make her real story fit in this one. She was kidnapped when she was 9 years old and put to work as an illegal slave in a laberith that generates crystals/gemstones (these can be regular gemstones or magic crystals, similar to the ones mc is getting for the rewards but lower quality and not refined) from within that can be mined. Thankfully she stayed in that mine for about 3 years and as she was to young, she was spared being R. Shortly after Erza reached 11, high ranked adventurers found the place and helped a riot to happened allowing all of them to escape. After a few months of travel she returned to her family that thought she was dead, but she learnt an ugly truth. Because she was not male and not the heir of the house, they did not pay the ransom for her, allowing the slavers to keep her, thus did not try to rescue her. This cause Erza to leave(kicked) the house to be an adventurer for a few years, after which she learned that Bloodline Power is a "very rare" thing and that she has one and that her bloodline power is to store A LOT of equipment at will and change Armor&weapons to fit her needs so long as all the equipment have skill crystals. 2 // This caused her to be somewhat famous for her rare bloodline power and literally being a walking armory and distrust blacksmith since she has suffered over the years when dealing with them cause... Obvious reasons such as that bad blackmith may say the fusion failed and keep the crystal and so on or blame her luck at the fusion failing. And with her having a short fuse, she is prone to cause chaos when angered or when her sweets are messed up with (She LOVES strawberry shortcake).
You can also add to aerza backtround i made. That she trusted the wrong people and was made a slave after being an adventurer for a few years and had everything stolen the sold off. As Erza is a person who trust easely. They made her attack a merchant because she was made to believe theh were illegal slavers and bandits. Then she was betrayed and sold off by her adventurer party who arrived shortly after and defeated erza.
