Rather than plant false memories in him, wouldn't it be better to enhance Severus' innate talent in potions? As well as raising his innate talent in spells, That way you don't have to give him memories every time you get new things to give him because Severus would already have the talent to create that. Maybe even give him the gift so that when he sees ingredients, he unconsciously knows what he could create with them, What I mean is that his talent is so high, that by randomly selecting several materials, he naturally already knows what kind of potion could be created by fusing those materials.

Sorry but I'm dropping this novel.. first I thought it was going to be interesting because MC is changing canon.. bashing James.. but now reading this and the last few chapters where MC is making Serverus somewhat like a protagonist.. just doesn't feel right to me..
