Conceptual_Entity
5 Technique slots. Every other option will lead to a sudden power increase. I would like Mc to focus on his copied abilities, instead of any new perks or skills conveniently popping out of nowhere. Tho, if u do go for a perk or skill, I hope it's sth relevant to him breaking out the restricted memories. Maybe sth that prevents him from being imprisoned forever, or losing any memories in the future(eidetic memory), perhaps a perk/skills allowing him to adapt to any restrictions(long term curses, domains, injuries, amputated limbs) placed on him, etc.
A lot of people are saying 4 as it doesn't directly make mc even more powerful at his already op power level and that makes sense since we don't want mc to never struggle in a fight, but consider this: what would realistically be mc's fighting style? Since not all techniques are made equal, every technique has to be trained, and he can only use a handful at most obviously mc would naturally just spam his strongest attack and would almost always win with just that. what's more is that since he only get 3 switches for an entire YEAR he can't vary his abilities between fights nor during them.Ultimately mc is being set up to have fights that aren't dynamic at all which spits in the face of having a "copy" ability whose whole gimmick/premise is that it can change to the ability of an opponent or ally to keep fighting both interesting and difficult. Considering all that what's the solution? Think about it : a "perk" can be ANYTHING not just a power up. Make it so he gets a perk that lets him switch his abilities more often since that doesn't directly make him stronger but still benefits him in an interesting way. Thanks for the chapter
