That was so great, this is honestly already better than most Pokémon fics on here and it’s unique in the sense that there are barely any type specialist fics out there and this is definitely the only water specialist one that I’ve seen. In any case there are so many awesome things you can do with this so hoping you keep up the great work!!
Thanks for continuing this. Ive always wanted an SI counterpart for Cerulean representative like in Hard Enough's Brock. There was a brief explanation or Authors way of handling in When is a spoon a sword? fanfic where electricity doesnt flow in a water moving move like water gun or hydropump. You could read it there. Please update, Im actually shock this is getting updated because the prologue was like 5 months ago.
Will Alex have any pseudo legendary Pokémon? I noticed that the electric specialist you made had an Abomasnow(presumably to deal with ground types which would be a problem) so it shouldn’t be a problem if you gave Alex a pseudo legendary pokemon even though there aren’t any water type ones. Since there’s no water type psuedo legendary why not have him get one that can use a plethora of water type moves. I would honestly just like to request that you have Alex catch and train a goomy into a goodra. That line has access to quite a few water type moves including scald, muddy water and hydro pump. Plus you could have Alex get a hisuian version by helping it learn the move shelter as a goomy. Since that move is currently exclusive to the hisuian goomy line it could be used as the key to getting the steel dragon. It would definitely boost his standing if he could get such a powerful Pokémon. You could even have him try to form an alliance with a dragon family(blacthorn gym or maybe opelucid gym) by offering to help them teach some goomy the move.
Thanks for the chapter and hard work 😁, my thoughts on the water / electricity thing I always saw it as the more trained the pokemon was the more likely the electricity would travel through to dmg them but in the show whenever they used water attacks it wasn't ever really connected to them and they were treated as a separate sort of mass causing the 2 attacks to collide with each other resulting in a pretty explosion
