Follower_of_Abadom:I can give you a few reasons, both in lore and outside of the world. This was the start of the novel so I wasn't exactly that good with the balancing of the progression. While at the same time, Dale could have just moved slowly, not facing enough monsters to Level up much. I don't remember if he leveled up or not during this entire adventure, he should've as far as I remember. If not, it was one of my earlier mistakes
