I still have mixed feelings about Rain. He’s doing all these caring things but still hurting daisy with his words often and usually on purpose. You can’t say mean things then say your joking. Or say it’s ok because they knew you were lying.
I wouldn't say "hurt". I would say he likes to agitate her, tease her and make her nervous. Nor do I think, Daisy is hurt by it. While he does annoy her with his ways of agitating her, she also doesn't like the idea of him stopping. You can find it in chapter 39 😊 but yes, Rhain is a peculiar man so his way of joking is different and can be perceived differently

Jasmine, thank you for this long and informative chapter. Rhain is armed and preparing to go to battle to protect the love of his life. He means business. The wolves will be ready to tear into flesh at a moment’s notice. Sooner or later Helena is going to have to be told that Rhain is a vampire. How will she respond to this truth!
