Daisy is heartbroken 💔🥺 yet it is so interesting to see her act the way she does, even though she is aware of the traditional roles of her time she feels brave enough to fight him and call him names especially knowing his strength and what he could actually do even if he wasn't a vampire, as her husband he could easily put her in place. There is still a level of trust she feels to be able to do that. Some Knowledge of the fact that he does care. It is in her subconscious. She of all wouldn't miss it, with all her great instincts. I hope he answers the question honestly…. He withheld major info from her… he lied to her… she feels betrayed. But can he fix this? If he wants to, I think yes…

These chapters just keep getting better and better, lady! I laughed at Daisy’s commentary, I melted along with Rhain, I gasped in time with his bite… All the feels - right here.

I think the fact that he took pleasure in terrifying her, and then snapped at her saying he doesn’t care is what hurt Daisy the most.😔 Poor thing. And it seems she was just starting to really care for him herself.💔 Jasmine, this wonderfully written chapter had me feeling all kinds of emotions! I can’t wait for the next one to come!! A heartbreaking chapter, poor Daisy. Seriously though dude, how do you expect her not to be upset at the utter betrayal of trust? It's not that she finds you disgusting because you're a vampire, she finds you disgusting because you relish her terror.

I'm sad and heartbroken for Daisy💔💔She was opening to Rhain already and then this🥺 Although I liked the chase I didn't think it'll hurt this way. She was right, he could have just done it outright, but why did Rhain have to terro rize her to the point of hating him.I'm heartbroken for Rhain too he cares for Daisy- lots. I hope she sees and feel that too.🥺

That last line! Rhain is going to feel something unexpected.

Although Rhain is wickedly cunning, he has some residuals of humanity within him. He now has his job cut out for him in terms of regaing Daisy’s trust.

Rhain should not compel Daisy to forget anything. He must tell her absolutely everything about how his brother and him became vampires. He also must confess to Daisy that he cannot father children. Now Daisy may suddenly become fearful about her mother spending time with Tiberius.

Wow, this chapter was epic. Lots of emotions and lingering anticipation of what is to come. I understand Daisys reaction, such betrayal 😔. I know she will worry about her mother. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.

This was a long emotional chapter! Rhayn better be sincere in his answer. She deserves the truth and to keep her memories. She has taken things pretty good in my opinion! She is willing to hear his justification, to discuss and understand. She isn't just shutting him out or just shocked. She is trying to understand because she cares a lot and he has just terrifyingly turned her world and potentially the rest of her young life upside down by FEDDING OUT OF HER.
