My heart was beating so fast and I felt this chase. I wonder if Rhain will actually be able to bite her and drink from her when he finally sees her and the state heโs put her in. I know he likes the chase and to instill fear but I wonder if his feelings will betray him. Also, I kind of hope that Daisy calls him out for not telling her and this whole thing.
While reading this chapter, I was on my psychological edge from its beginning until its end. I felt as if I were watching a horror movie. Sweet and loving Daisy should not have to experience so much fright. If Rhain feeds from Daisy against her will, she would probably never trust him for the remainder of her life.
