Roy being the only family member he has left I understand the extra desperation and the guilt that his brother happened to be in that state because of him. It won't be easy to let go and be happy with Daisy. The choice of leaving his brother to die will haunt him BUT Daisy will also haunt him if he sacrifices her. He has to choose the lesser of two evils in a way and live with that choice but, his brother met his fate. Daisy is innocent in all this, she is still young and hasn't had the chance to live life 😢. Rhain, you can't do that. He will never rest if he does it. Also interesting that he adapted fast to darkness. I am also curious why.

May I ask what exactly being a vessel means ! They only are found every so many years? That has to be different from just being a chosen one ! What is the vessel for ? Oh man. Here we go. Will he compel her or let her know what he is? I think he will let her know since he is upset that he is harboring feeling for her. Is there really no other way to save Roy and is it really necessary? I understand his guilt but Roy was sick and given another life and many more years than what he was probably supposed to have. Daisy’s life has just begun and she is innocent in all this. Even if he decides not to sacrifice her, I wonder what will happen. He doesn’t age so will he keep her as a human and a favorite or curse her to a life as a vampire?

Daisy is a unicorn amongst all the creatures on the planet. I wonder how Rhain knew Daisy is a vessel?

This chapter is off the charts! Now we know why Rhain is so driven to have his brother resurrected and why Daisy is the “Chosen One”. Jasmine, thank you for providing your readers with much needed information. But specifically, what did Roy do to lose his “life”? Who took him out of circulation?

I feel much apprehension for Daisy. Rhain shouldn’t sink his fangs into Daisy’s neck without first romancing her and then giving her an explanation. Rhain carries a heavy load of guilt because Roy saved him from “eternal slumber”. On the other hand, should Rhain sacrifice Daisy, he will likely be doomed to an existence filled with unrelenting sorrow.

I do have a few answers now but I still have a few questions. Why is Roy even in a coffin? Rhaine said it was because Roy saved him. Saved him from what? What about Daisy makes her a Vessel? Why are they so rare? What does he have to do to her to resurrect his brother? Daisy is an innocent young lady and she's just starting to live her life. He can deny it all he wants but he's falling in love with her.
