Or do you only want her blood? You feel a deeper connection- a mate or destiny or reincarnation of an old love? I’m also concerned about your cousin. I don't think Daisy is in danger with Rhain but I do think she's in danger at home. I just know that Katherine and her two brats are gonna give her an even harder time after this visit to Lord Blackthorn's mansion. I think he will protect her if it gets too far out of hand. I think he will have somebody keep an eye on her because I think he heard how Katherine was talking down to her.

So many thoughts running through my head but first, I have to comment on Daisy. I see a beautiful character development and love how she is already beginning to stand up for herself. Rhain is still a mystery but this is what I get so far. He doesn't seem bothered about Daisy or her feelings. For now, he seems to be only driven by his self-interest and desires. The thrill of the hunt matters more than making Daisy feel comfortable. Maybe he even gets a thrill from scaring her. No actually, he did say the point is to make her run 🤣🤣. There is something that makes him interesting and I wonder what else he is on the hunt for because it is surely not Daisy's affection. My curiosity is piqued. I know Daisy is faced with a conundrum. A marriage with a wealthy will not be one she can leave so a wrong move and she could be trapped with the wrong person for the rest of her life. Of course this is a story so we know she won't 🤣🤣

I think he’s planning on turning her into (a vampire?) or whatever it is they are. Maybe that’s what the marriage is for… He did say he wanted to show her things, dangerous adventures and some what some extravagant normalcy. He definitely only has animalistic feelings towards her right now. She’s his prey and he wants to take advantage of the fun nature of the hunt. He desires her and just wants her. But I think he will be just as surprised as to how Daisy will evoke feelings within him he’s probably never felt before. He just doesn’t know it yet.

I think Daisy is his mate and he is trying to protect her from her step-family. His cousin can have the other girls. They are hunting, but Rhain wants more from Daisy than just hunting her. Why else would he want to marry her if she wasn't his mate 🤔

Lord Blackthorne is going to end up falling hopelessly in love with his prey. Daisy is going to put a spell on him.
