Oh my! This first chapter tears at my heart. What a cruel way for Helena to endure a divorce as a servant of ex-husband and new wife and for Daisy as a servant to her stepmother and stepsisters.

I'm loving this book after just one chapter. That shows what an amazing author you are, Jasmin. I already feel bad for Daisy and hate everybody except for her mama. Looking forward to this story 🥰

I was fuming like Daisy 😤. Need to calm down to say how good of a start this is 😅. I like the fact that Daisy's mother is alive (unlike the classic Cinderella) and that neither of them are afraid to rise against unfair treatments and defend each other. It alleviates a little of my frustration at the injustice they are facing 🙂. I hope the lord is a kind and interesting person. I can't wait to read more, thanks for the chapter, Jasmine! 🥰
