I get that the valyr have run out of the criminals (which is quite realistic). And at least they are honerable enouge to not sacrifice the innocent. But it to me it seems feels that directly asking for energy stones on top of that is going to cause problems unless they can provide something useful. Not to mention the potential loss of trust… And they KNEW that micheal was a cursed child. And that he already unlocked some seals as a lower lifeform. so they should have known that he would grow a lot stronger when he becomes a higher lifeform. Shm..
