I think the novel is extremely well structured and has a solid plot that isn't filled with holes or 'plot armor'. I think we could use a little more detail in the output of his territory such as armor and potions made, food produced/consumed, enlightenment, ect every once in a while to highlight the growth of the citizens and territory. I think adding too much of anything would throw off the good balance you have of story progression vs world/character building.
I would like to see more interaction between different assets he has accumulated in the past and how they are coming into fruition. Like creative ways he uses his bilrox. The benifits his 4 star tree spirit brings etc and maybe seeing independent leaders among his summons begin to pop up and becoming named/more incorporated when discussing his territory. Like a dedicated knight that has exceptional skill and determination outshining his peers and becomes manager of the army and his presence boosts the efficiency of the troops training and rates of starless signing up. Causing a more visible growth in it's prowess. Then implementing similar leadership positions in the other casts and seeing new innovations that don't come directly from MC
I honestly love how the story is progressing and structured but a small detail has bothered me. The MC has slowly gained more familiarity and trust with a couple characters but why not Alice. She has showed him nothing but sincerity but he still doesn't confide in her and keeps her at a distance. For someone that has supported him almost before everyone else I find that weird.
Only thing Ie is the sudden changes for chapters at a time. A brief flashback is one thing but as much as I like Danny for michaels sake I didn’t need his story in that much detail I didn’t hate it either just jarring so I speed tan those and got back to Michael if the story had featured Danny heavily all through it as two parrallel tales it wouldn’t be bad but after so much on Michael the switch bothered me. Felt like a separate book.
I realise he's in an area where most of the lords and adventurers are non-humans, and thus not especially friendly, but with the sheer numbers of people in the world, you would expect more contact with people other than summons. Like a few adventurers who could settle in his territory, without necessarily have to pledge their loyalty like the elves.. Like just a base camp for them to work in the forest. His territory is new and not yet attractive for this kind of thing to happen yet, but it could be something to strive for: to be attractive for adventurers activity.
