Very confusing chapter. I thought Aenys was a good warrior, how exactly does he get disadvantage by Jason Lannister? And Vhagar was notably unperturbed by her old age, and could contend with the likes of Caraxes even though she was nearly two hundred years old. It doesn't make sense for her to appear abruptly to the fight like that.
