Poor Adela, she deserves much better than Egon, so does Noctavian. She’s always being abandoned by Egon for some reason. After being kidnapped, later questioned about her loyalty to Egon, then to be abandoned. Noctavian should kick his father where it hurts, tell him to go back from where he came.

This chapter was amazing. I was heartbroken to learn that they were seperated for 7 long years but seeing the young man Adela brought up , I can finally see the three of them forming their own family -once Egon pays for the huge mistake he made by abandoning her. Something that was impossible 7 years ago. What a wonderful book, what a fantastic plot.. M.S. you are a real artist 🤍🤍🤍
