Grief is traumatizing as is, dealing with the loss and pain you know won't fade away, but you have to make a choice to deal with your grief and live with it or be consumed by it. David is denying it and therefore only making his grief stronger.

Well 💩really hit the fan now. Zara where are you?? I think she will seek Stark's help to get through to David.

This entire situation makes my heart just ache. David is a good man who is mentally not in a good place right now. His mind and eyesight is so clouded but what he wants to see. He’s not seeing the consequences of his actions and the horrible reality that he is creating right now. Every word Stark said was absolutely correct and I applaud him for finally standing up to David. More than that though, the fact that he can still hold David in a place of compassion despite everything that has happened… wow. I hope one day David sees everything for what it is and can see how much Stark truly cares.

This hurts to have David so focused on the wrong thing and not listening to his best friend who only wants what is best for him. This is just so sad.

I am aching for David. And for the hard truths Stark had to finally just lay out for him to hear AND feel. Now to hope that this wedding doesn’t come to pass. Unless it’s Hildie and Gabe’s wedding.
