AimeeLynn
I read this chapter again and I have a few more points to make. He said "She is a servant to the crown. She is loyal and has proven it". How has she proven her loyalty? Yet you chastise me for a woman at my beck and call? How and why is Emory at his beck and call? This is all too weird to me and he wants her to trust him.
I wonder why he confided in Emory of all people? Why is he even discussing Zara with her? He seems to really know her and I don't think he should know her all that well. Didn't he meet all of these women at the same time? Why is he calling her a servant to the crown? This just feels really weird to me. Where does he expect Ash to sleep? She can't help that. If they don't trust each other, they might as well drop these feelings at the door. With no trust, there can be nothing else in my opinion. Trust is the foundation of any relationship.
