Railvas:Lol, you're the worst kind of reader, as soon as one thing betrays your expectations you go to cry in reviews after enjoying everything else. Ken was angry when his mother got crippled, but he controlled himself since it wasn't his fault, and he betrayed Annie since it was on his terms and the way he always planned it. Now, as a self-centered child, something bad happened due to his choices out of his plans, and he lost it. That's how it happened, and he will learn and grow from it, and his personality will solidify. Life isn't a smooth run for anyone, and as a young child (he is 8 in this part of the story), he can't be a completely cold and calculative man yet; let's not forget that in his previous 19 years of life, he barely developed because of the low intelligence he used to have. He will obviously pull himself together and move on, so let the story unfold.
